Everyone wants to make
money. No one objects to
earning a little extra cash
for what seemingly adds up
to no extra work. That
tends to be what happens
to website managers when
they sign up for Google's
AdSense program. Once a
good AdSense marketing
plan is in place all a
website manager has to so
is sit back and wait for the
checks to roll in.
What is AdSense? AdSense
is a program designed by
Google where website
managers allow Google to
place advertisements on
the website. Each time the
advertisement is clicked,
AdSense pays the web
manger. AdSense has a
variety of ad types
available; text ads, half
banner ads, and full
banner ads. AdSense tries
to make sure that the ads
compliment the website
where they are posted;
both in the product they
advertise and visually.
There are several secrets
for creating a successful
AdSense marketing plan,
things that will, in the end,
ad up to more frequent
checks.
The first, and perhaps most
obvious thing you'll have to
do is create a website.
When creating a website
don't make one for the
soul purpose of posting
AdSense ads, for AdSense
to be wiling to use your
website there has to be
viable content. There has
to be a reason for
consumers to want to see
it. Google has a terms of
service agreement that
clearly states what type of
web content they find
unacceptable in the
AdSense program. They will
not accept websites that
hack, promote criminal
activity, and are
pornographic. Google will
be looking for websites
that are going to attract
lots of attention so don't
skip on things like search
engine optimization
techniques. Do you
homework and learn about
various methods for
attracting web crawlers to
your website, the higher
your search engine ranking,
the more revenue you will
be able to generate with
AdSense.
Once you are confident
that your webpage meets
Google's standards you'll
need to fill out the
application. Make sure you
fill out the entire
application and give
accurate information. Once
you have submitted the
application be patient. It
might be a few days before
Google's support tea can
review your website and
declare AdSense ready. If
you haven't heard anything
within 14 days contact
Google and make sure your
application isn't floating
around in cyberspace
somewhere.
Once AdSense has
approved your website and
placed ads, do not try to
cheat the system. The only
way web managers earn a
profit from AdSense is if
the ads are actually clicked
by the consumers who are
browsing your webpage. If
Google suspects that the
website manger is trying to
cheat the system they will
cancel the websites
AdSense account.
A check is mailed to the
website manager when the
AdSense account reaches $
100.
