Muslim marrage system

Asalaamu alikum..Q?A boy &girl
have marred in court.is there
decision right or wrong.than
after court marrage there familys
marred them aacordig to islam.?

Dear Tariq,
Assalam Alai Kum. Its pity that
they had to get married in a
court. was the court in a muslim
or non-muslim country ?
Further A marriage is invalid if
there is no "wali" ( womens legal
guardian) for a virgin girl as per
the hadith of the prophet .
These are the requirements of
marriage according to the sunna
of the prophet.
1. Mutual Consent ( between the
couples)
2. Permission from the women's
guardian (Wali)
3. fixing of Mahr
4. Witnesses
5. Publicing the marriage
through Walimah
