Google AdSense is a great
program that is offered for
free to content publishers
who are looking for an
easy way to monetize their
websites and/or blogs. This
privilege and opportunity
however can be just as
easily taken away if you are
not careful and abide by
their rules. Break their rules
and you will not only lose
your AdSense account but
will also lose all of the
money you had coming to
you as well. Here are a few
tips to ensure you are
playing the cards safe and
that you don't get banned.
The first thing that you
must do is make sure to
read all of their terms and
conditions. It would really
suck for you to work your
butt off, start making ten
grand a month, and to lose
that income simply for not
understanding their basic
rules. If you haven't done
so yet, go now and read
them all so you can
understand them and
adhere to their policies and
procedures.
The most basic of their
laws to understand is that
you should never click on
your own ads and you
should never tell other
people to click on them as
well. This is really easy for
the AdSense team to spot
and you will get banned
quickly without warning.
Never tell a visitor to click
on the sponsored ads or to
visit them.
Another way people are
getting banned is with
what they call "made for
AdSense" websites. These
websites have little to no
quality content and are just
spammed heavily with
keywords to garner free
traffic. If your websites are
thin and/or are lacking
helpful content, then by all
means start working on
making some legit websites
that can truly help people
and will benefit the online
community.
You will not get banned by
Google for having a whole
bunch of websites on one
account. What will ban you
is if these websites have
little to no helpful content.
There has been a recent
surge of product based
websites to hit the internet
and many of these owners
are getting the ban. Micro
niche means small niche,
not small websites with
little content. It is not wise
to put up a hundred
websites with one page
using AdSense on them. Try
starting 20 websites with 5
pages each instead.
Most people who get
banned with their Google
AdSense account are
confused as to why they
got banned and are angry
because they never get an
answer from Google. Even
if you think you play the
cards safe and have done
everything to protect your
account, there is a chance
that you may get banned.
By all means though don't
get angry and give up with
your online business, just
see it as an obstacle and
move on to another
business model.
