FIVE IPHONE APPLICATION THAT SAVE YOUR LIFE

The iPhone of course has
its uses, as a telephone, an
entertainment device, and
music player, but most of
all; it is the iPhone apps
that really make the
iPhone a standout piece of
technology. Where other
phones fall
short is in what the iPhone
glories in. Rather than
simply offering voice and
text options, the iPhone,
through its applications
opens up a whole world of
possibilities of portable
computing, time
management, and even
personal safety. While you
might not think of the
IPhone as a personal safety
device, there are situations
where you might just be
thankful that you had your
IPhone on you.
The IPhone apps as follows
are all available on the
Microsoft IPhone website,
either paid or free. Each
has its own usefulness.
Radar in Motion is an
IPhone app that makes the
screen of your IPhone into
a real-time weather
surveillance device.
Regardless of where you
travel, you need to be able
to tell what the weather is
going to do. Much more
than simply being in tune
with the nation's various
weather patterns, this
IPhone app allows you to
be a step ahead of serious
weather problems in your
area, where you might not
be familiar with the
warning system, or lack of
a warning system,
depending on where you
go. For the price (currently
$0.99,) you really can't beat
the information.
Traffic is a CLO Software
creation currently available
for about $1.99. It provides
real-time information of
traffic situations in various
regional areas. Not only
useful to business travelers,
this IPhone app could easily
be used by anyone trying
to plot the quickest, most
direct route to the hospital.
While it certainly won't
take the place of an
ambulance in life-
threatening situations,
you'd be hard pressed to
find a more useful IPhone
app anywhere.
